The Plush Workshop
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but I'm hoping someone knows something!! |
I've recently acquired some old, antique, Steiff stuffed animals. My grandma had been collecting them since she was little and she just gave them all to me as Christmas presents. Many of them used to belong to my father and uncles when they were little, and a couple of them are even older than that. They are most all mohair teddy bears and the like in very good condition; they still have the trademark button in the ear and everything. I'm curious about ways I might be able to store them with minimum or no damage? I live in Northern New Mexico and there is a lot of dust here. I'd love to keep these plush animals out to display but I'm concerned about doing that. :/ My dogs, for one, would happily chew these beautiful antiques to shreds.
